I made a couple Mac OS X related changes to the code based on error reports
discussed on the list. I have no Mac OS X system myself, and no experience
with it, but others on the list do. See http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q1.16
The instructions on StepWise refer to a patch which is 3.1.5 specific,
so that part won't work, but I'd imagine the rest of the pointers in the
article would be relevant. The changes in the patch are some that Geoff
and I have carried forward into the 3.2 code, so it shouldn't be needed,
but I can't say that there aren't other changes in 3.2 that won't work
on Mac OS X.
If you get down to specifics (on the list) about what errors you're running
into, maybe someone will be able to make helpful suggestions.
