OK, the program htdig never creates any file named "db.wordlist.new." The
only program that does so is htmerge, and if you don't have any reasonable
databases, you *don't* want to run htmerge.

Run htdig--this will index the site and re-create your databases.
Run htmerge

*or* you can run the rundig script that's installed initially. This will
run both programs and do various other housekeeping for an initial
install. If you've deleted your databases, this is essentially what you
want to do.
