hi all!
there's something funny going on with the indexing of our site:
the system we use for indexing the items, which come from a database works
like that: there's a php file that loops through all items and puts them
out on one page with a link to a php-file and the item specification
attached to the url:
http://www.fontshop.at/allproduct.php3
the index starts from there with a depth of 1 and should thus reach all
the items listed.
but -alas- it does not. some of them get rejected (level1) for no obvious
reason. there are no bad words, nor do these pages differ in any way from
those indexed correctly since they are all output of the same php-file.
i've been researching this quite a while and come to notice that all
rejected items contain a '99' in their url, but now i'm stuck...
i'm using version 3.1.5 on linux.
questions:
1) if you can give me a clue, as how to solve this, you're welcome ;)
2) else i would appreciate more information on what happens 'inside' htdig
(or is it htmerge in that case???) or on how to get more information out
of the log...
please answer on [EMAIL PROTECTED], if i don't hear something, i think i'm
probably going to upgrade to 3.2 beta...
THANKS A LOT! ia
blip,
uli
