Hmm. Your error messages seem to be running into each other. While there
are some known bugs in 3.1.5's htmerge, I've never known them to cause
problems like above. This may be caused by database corruption, which
could in turn be caused by something as simple as running out of space
during the merge. Try on a disk volume with lots of space. Maybe try
the 3.1.6 development snapshot as well (http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots).
