Hi All,

I find that on a vanilla SuSE 6.4 box (gcc version 2.95.2,
libstdc++-libc6.1-2) configure fails thus:

www4-it-ds:/usr/local/src/htdig-3.1.5 # ./configure --prefix=/web/htdig
--exec-prefix=/usr/local
loading cache ./config.cache

configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler

As everything else I've tried to compile recently worked fine, so I'm
rather puzzled.

Any ideas how to fix this ?

PS. htdig-3.2.0b3 fails in the same way.
