correct. I did an index, which worked fine. Then I started an update
(without "-a"), and while it was updating I changed my script to add
the "-a" for the next update.
Later on I restarted the machine, forgetting an update was in progress.
Then I re-launched the update, forgetting this time I had changed the
script adding "-a".
That's how I got an update started without "-a" and continued with
"-a". The result is a totally corrupt database. Or what looks like it
since every word now returns "nothing found".
I am now updating again (-a) and I'll tell you what happens next. If
it fails I'll have to re-index (-i).
Is there some kind of way I can know the databases are good or bad ?
