Our host has the correct libraries now. Our old version is working. And
I'll see about upgrading once things settle down. I need to look into the
alt text issue further before abandoning the custom C code.
We use htdig to simulate a database search. The excerpt text needs to neat
and clean as if it were a written description in a directory.
