I'd still appreciate a backtrace of this. Even for serious errors like
running out of disk space, it would be nice if we could catch them without
dumping core. I suspect, though, that the error may have resulted from
database corruption, which may prove difficult to pin down. A backtrace
would confirm whether the problem is in the DB code or ours, though.
