I found that neither of the URLs above works from my browser, but the first one does give me an information page describing the broken link, while the second one just gives me a "404 Not Found" error. Is the "the_directory" string truly part of the URL you put in start_url, or is it just obfuscation? When I strip out the "the_directory" part of the URL, both URLs work in my browser, but I found they both have an Enter link that leads to a legal page that uses JavaScript links. htdig can't follow JavaScript links. See http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q5.18 In any case, you need to figure out why htdig isn't indexing the new site. It's not enough to report it doesn't work - there are dozens of possible reasons for this. See http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q4.1, as well as questions 5.16, 5.25 and 5.27. -- Gilles R.
