Well, since I knew the URLs worked (I had tested this - see original message
below) and htdig worked fine with the 'test' URL, a lot of problems were
ruled out, including the JavaScript link suggestion. The only thing that
had changed was the way I was addressing the directory in my htdig.conf file.
("the_directory" is not the real directory name, I used this generic name
for the example, as a security measure)
So I ran htdig with -vvv to try to get a better idea of what is going on, and
this is what it said:
1:0:http://www.mpglobal.com/the_directory/
New server: www.mpglobal.com, 80
Unable to build connection with www.mpglobal.com:80
pushed
pick: www.mpglobal.com, # servers = 1
...and that was it. It took a while to get to the "Unable to build
connection" part. Can anyone offer any guidance as to what my next step
should be?
