I am puzzled as to what a "MS Word Meta Tag field" can be, I tried the Help
in Word2000 without finding an explanation.

Catdoc is rather crude in the way it extracts text from a Word document.
Try using it on the command line and experiment with its options to see if
you can get it to output the fields you want.
