I'm looking at the "how it works" pages here at htdig.org and they don't fully explain how it works.
Could someone explain what each of the db files are for? Does htsearch use the same file as htnotify? I'm using the rundig-3.2.sh script found at htdig.org/contribs When the script is all done, do the .work files really need to hang around? The reason I ask is that htnotify kept telling me to remove a page that didn't exist anymore. I think my problem was that I was using just the rundig.sh script with htdig version 3.2 Since I'm not sure what file htnotify was using, I'm not really sure exactly what was going on.
