Hello all, Is there a maximum number of documents htDig will index?
I have roughly 500,000 PDF documents I am indexing and expect to have in excess of 1,000,000 by year end. They do reside in different directories so that may help if max number is linked to dirs or location. Also, since I am indexing files on the same machine as the webserver, can I do this without making http requests? I think that would speed up indexing a great deal. If so, how would I go about that and how would I change the URL in the database from /dir/subdir/file.pdf to http://server.site.dom/bogusdir/file.pdf?
