Is there a standard easy way to do the following, for a huge static site: Step 1: Run htdig on a local site to build the databases.
Step 2: Copy the database, configuration, and template files to a remote mirror Step 3: Quickly reconfigure htsearch on the remote mirror to work on its own files Why would anyone want to do this? To eliminate: - The system overhead of rerunning the dig locally on each mirror site - The network overhead of rerunning the dig for a remote mirror (I'm guessing it's easier in 3.1.6 than 3.1.5) Les Brown _______________________________________________________________ Hundreds of nodes, one monster rendering program.
