I don't recall if anyone answered you, but rather than fighting with very outdated binaries, maybe it would be better to ask if someone could build you more recent HP-UX 10.20 binaries from the 3.1.6 source code. That way you'd know you're getting something worth running, and for which someone could tell you which compiler and libraries were used. Not having HP-UX myself, I'm afraid I can't help. -- Gilles R.
