No, you should be using... local5.*: /var/log/htdig.log unless you changed the LOG_FACILITY definition in include/htconfig.h to something other than LOG_LOCAL5. If you find entries in htdig.log that come from something other than htsearch, then there's another utility that's logging using the local5 facility name. In case of such a conflict, you may want to try other local facility names by changing both of these definitions. (Of course, if you change htconfig.h, you need to recompile and reinstall htsearch.) -- Gilles R.
