But now that it's out on a public forum that you set all the permissions
to 777, you should seriously consider turning OFF write permission for
anyone that shouldn't have it.  htsearch doesn't need write access to
anything, and in all but a few rare circumstances should you set a file
or directory writeable by all.  This usually means using 775 or 755 for
directories, and 664 or 644 for regular files (unless they also need to
be executable).
