Correct. Assuming that your new config file has everything in it that you want. What I usually do is create a new config file from htdig.conf by doing "save as" the project's name. e.g. ccfpd.conf, emmajane.conf, whatever.conf. Then I move htdig.conf (and all other original files) into a directory called "archive" or "orig." The search form has <input type="hidden" name="config" value="ccfpd" />. Because my config file started out as htdig.conf and then has stuff added to it I don't worry about including the original one at all. > It's not like it's supposed to *always* read the default > config and just pick up changes out of the alternate one, > is it? Both databases or you used the same database for both config files and so the search results are looking in the same place. Try including "restric" information in your htsearch form to make sure you're looking only in the right part of the database. emma -- Emma Jane Hogbin [[ 416 417 2868 ][ www.xtrinsic.com ]] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
