sorry to answer my own question. The snapshot (20030810) i download did not include 
the file htconfig.h, but you can just simply copy the config.h to htconfig.h at the 
same directory, they are the same file.
For the " -Wno-deprecated" error, please refer the the FAQ 3.8.

Does anyone know whether the Berkeley database created by my htdig can exceed 2Gb if i 
don't want to really index over 2Gb data?
