sorry to answer my own question. The snapshot (20030810) i download did not include the file htconfig.h, but you can just simply copy the config.h to htconfig.h at the same directory, they are the same file.
I know. I am sorry about that. I forgot to add the htconfig.h file in the last commit I did before coming to Australia. I just did it this morning and hopefully it will be available in the next snapshot.
For the " -Wno-deprecated" error, please refer the the FAQ 3.8.
Latest snapshot include configuration code which should prevent from using it.
