I have a build of the 9/29/02 snapshot that's been running on one of our Solaris 9 development boxes with no major problems. This build expects to live in /opt/sfw/htdig. If you want to put the base files someplace else it should work but you'll always need to specify a 'config' directive. You'll need to move cgi-bin/htsearch and the htdoc/htdig/ stuff to your web tree. You may want to symlink or move (via config) var to someplace with a lot of disk space. The tarball -- about 30Mb -- is at: http://www.acponline.org/public/htdig-3.2.0b4-20020929-solaris-binary.tar.gz Unfortunately I haven't had time to update this using a more recent snapshot.
