Thanks for your reply. I usually do not like to install binaries. I like to compile and know where everything is going but thanks for your offer anyway. When I compiled htdig 3.2 months ago for Solaris 7, I managed to do the complilation but when I ran it, the indexing stage ran for over 24 hours and did not finish whereas the indexing stage for 3.1.6 takes about 9-10 hours so I dropped 3.2. I will try it again and see what happens. Thanks again for your answer
