I assume by this that you're expecting it to index much more than
just those 10 files, but can't figure why it isn't.  That's what
http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q5.25 and http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q5.18
address, so have a close look at them, as well as 5.27 to see why
htdig might be rejecting some links.  You'll need at least -vvv
to see the rejection messages.  The other possibility is that htdig
isn't rejecting the links, but is simply not finding them.  Running
rundig -vvv should tell you which is the case.  If it's the latter,
you'll need to look at the HTML generated by the pages that htdig does
see, and try to find what it might be tripping up on.

I also have no idea what version of htdig you're running.  (See
http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q5.33)  If it's 3.1.6, and your HTML pages
contain inline JavaScript that's not properly enclosed in HTML comments,
then have a look at http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q4.26
