htdig respects redirects, so if your old pages provide standard redirects to another page with regular links, those links should be followed. However you will probably want to take a close look at your limit_urls_to attribute to make sure it remains valid when you start redirecting. Is there some reason that you cannot just change the start_url to point at the new umbrella page? That might be the easier solution. Then you wouldn't need to worry about the old home pages or how they redirect. Or Perhaps I am misunderstanding the exact nature of your question.
