FYI, I am running 3.1.6 (patched for SSL) on a PC running Fedora Core 2.

Since I kept getting the core dumps no matter what I've tried (I did not try debugging because I have very limited C know-how), I tried to do the same thing on Mac OS X. Now I did not get a core dump (yet), but htmerge has been "stuck" with just about the same output (simply without the "core dump" line) since about 2 hours... and I've only indexed one small site.
Does release 3.1.6 work for anyone of you? On what platform? Should I choose a different release?
