Maybe a special name for the virtual user who does the unsubscription?
That way any mail directed to that user causes the sender of the mail
to be unsubscribed from the list and the list will stay clean, i.e.:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]
</example>
However, since lot of people are used to putting the word "unsubscribe"
either in the subject, the support for the old method should be kept
up and running.
