Oh, absolutely.  You definitely don't want to remove the old method.
A separate e-mail address is OK, but I've seen it happen very often on
other lists that are managed this way, that people frequently send to
the wrong address.  Why?  The tendency is to hit reply without reading
and noticing the address is different.  So, instead of seeing a whole
bunch of unsubscribe message on the list, we'll see a whole bunch of
blank messages.  I'd rather have the program recognise the unsubscribe
command in either the subject or the body of the message.

I already have two big beefs with the BeroList program on htdig.org
(doesn't set the "Return-Path:" header correctly, butchers multi-line
"Content-Type:" headers such as multipart message from Outlook), so
if I ever do get around to hacking the source, as I've been meaning to
for a few weeks, I'll look into this fix too!

Geoff or Andrew, as I'm not a Debian user, could you tell me how I'd find,
install and build the BeroList source on htdig.org?  Thanks.
