When I set my 'restrict' variable on an intial search, the 'restrict'
variable gets listed twice in the query string for the links to pages 2 - n
of the search results.
For example, if the initial search query string is this:
restrict=fsl.noaa.gov&method=and&format=builtin-long&sort=score&config=fsl&e
xclude=&words=macdonald
the query-string associated with the links in the variables $(PREVPAGE),
$(PAGELIST), and $(NEXTPAGE) have this query-string:
restrict=fsl.noaa.gov&exclude=&config=fsl&method=and&format=builtin%2Dlong&s
ort=score&words=macdonald&restrict=fsl.noaa.gov&page=2
You'll notice that 'restrict=fsl.noaa.gov' is listed twice. This doesn't
seem to have any ill effect, except that it makes the search results pages
look bad because I indicate the domain restricted-to on the page, and after
drilling through several pages of search results, the domain is listed as:
fsl.noaa.gov|fsl.noaa.gov|fsl.noaa.gov|<etc, many times>
Any ideas?
