I've had no trouble using PHP/FI with htdig.  It should be the same for any 
CGI processor.

However (sorry to pose a further question) what is the cleanest method of 
detection htdig as the user agent?  Does htdig set HTTP_USER_AGENT (which 
seems to be the de facto standard)?
