If you can build the DBI module from source on one machine, the files that 
end up in blib/ (under the build directory) should be the ones you need.  
Unfortunately, you may or may not actually be able to build DBI on OS X--I 
tried it on 10.2.5 (or possibly 10.2.4--can't recall) and failed 
miserably.  I'm currently using DBI::PurePerl, which works if you can find 
pure perl drivers for your database of choice (Pg and MySQL both have 
them), though with a slightly reduced feature set.
