Hi Sam, if you don't mind to include a Test::More dependency then I'd be glad to send you an additional (or replacement) test suit using Test::More.
It will fix a number of issues with the current test suit staring from the fact that the number of tests is not correct in test.pl till the capability to get test coverage using Devel::Cover.
