Circus camel runs, but cannot hide
WORMS, Germany -- A circus camel's journey to a better life has come to an abrupt end.
German police apprehended the renegade animal after finding him headed on the southbound highway toward Ludwigshafen.

Four-year-old boy jumps 10,000 feet
CAPE TOWN, South Africa -- Parents from Germany wanted their four-year-old son to follow his dreams, so they let him jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet.
"We are sure he is the youngest skydiver in South Africa and probably in the
world," the proud mother said.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The animals were encouraged to be pigs at the ninth annual Elephant Pumpkin Stomp at the Smithsonian National Zoo.
Piles of pumpkins to smash and eat awaited each pachyderm. Squeals of delight came from watching children as each squash was squashed.
