.NET supports Perl, actually, so we're already there!  Python is another
matter entirely, though.  I imagine a Python port would be a similar sort
of task to a Ruby port.  Programming Python is on my safari.oreilly.com
desktop...

Sounds like a job for... SOAP!  HTML::Template::SOAP might be an
interesting project although I'd be willing to bet the performance would
be pretty abysmal.
