Okay, with the cubic.pto file I could reproduce the issue. It should now
be fixed in the default branch. 2016.0 beta2 or rc1 will also contain
the fix.

 stitch(): exception during stitching

  (/usr/include/vigra/separableconvolution.hxx:1103)

  This happens in the regular Windows version 2015.0.0,Linux 2015.0.0 Ubuntu
15.10 package and also the latest nightly build 2016.1.0.d19854c5f040

  However,it seems to work on version 2014.0.0 for Windows (I haven't
  been able to test the Linux one)
