The /tmp/R4tHtKFeZT folder contains only 4 *.pto files, no tiffs. The pto-Files
look all similar like this:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
# Created by Panotools::Script 0.16
p f4 h533 n"TIFF_m" v50 w800
m g1.0 i17
# Image lines
i f0 h2048 n"/home/steve/Projects/Pano/Panostart/In/img_1252.jpg" p0 r0 v50
w3072 y0
# Variable lines
# Control point lines
# option lines
*
# Output image lines
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're looking for for files called "_PTStitcher_tmp_00000*", there are a
few in
the invoking directory. In my case in /home/steve/Projects/Pano/Panostart. The
"file"
utility reports that these are tiffs:
[nor]/home/steve/Projects/Pano/Panostart: file _PTStitcher_tmp_000006
_PTStitcher_tmp_000006: TIFF image data, little-endian
And seem to be valid tiffs as they can be opened with "xv".
The patch from the other email doesn't fix the problem.
HTH & Rgds,
Stephan.
