Hi,

I have been spending some of my free time over the last few months
working on a command line based HDRI processing/tone mapping toolkit
that I thought might fit into the hugin/panotools toolchain with a bit
more work.

Currently it only accepts HDR tiffs (logLUV and IEEE RGB) as input,
but I plan to put an EXR reader together in the next week or so.
Output is similarly limited to PNG, but adding file saving modules is
pretty trivial.

The documentation, like the software is in its early days, but
instructions for downloading and building can be found here:
http://www.spectral3d.co.uk/Vapourware/tonemap/

High on my list of priorities are:

- More file formats.
- A mechanism for handling EXIF data.
- More tone mapping algorithms.

Comments are welcome, but this is an "0.1 first usable release", so
don't be too brutal '-)

    Dave
