The 64bits keypoints program runs fine.

Now, maybe you did see it and maybe not, but I added panomatic-lib to the
XCode project. I got segfaults when linking panomatic against ZThread. After
I unset the "prebinding" in the linking options for ZThread in the XCode
project I could link panomatic against ZThread. Not even that: also the
64bit version now starts correctly showing the options.
However when running it on a set of images it segfaults in the end:

i1 : Analyze image...
i1 : Load RGB...
i0 : Load RGB...
i1 : Resize to greyscale double...
i0 : Resize to greyscale double...
i1 : Build integral image...
Segmentation fault

The i386 version still runs fine.

The gdb bugtrace run for the x86_64 is as follows:
gdb ./panomatic
