Harry,

Thanks again for continuing to do battle with all the parts and pieces of this thing! :)

Hi all,

I built another triple architecture i386/x86_64/ppc bundle.
In this bundle the GSOC-2010 makefile project and the GSOC-2010 patent_free_cpm project are integrated. It took some time to integrate these two also due to the fact that the cpm has already been expanded again with new functionality (and due the fact that my XCode project somehow got corrupted).

In this bundle you can use/test:
The new patent-free CPdetector cpfind (as it is called now) which supersedes the "patfree-panomatic" (as I called it in earlier bundles and referred to in the defaults as "Pablo's patent free Panomatic"). This cpfind is from the GSOC-2010 project done by Antoine Deleforge. Thomas Modes already added some new combined celeste functionality to it which enables you to run celeste during the CP detection to improve accuracy. This will slow down the process a bit, but it's worth it I think. The makefilelib functionality done by by Florian Achleitner. This functionality should improve and stabilize the entire process dealing with project files (very simply stated), also between Hugin and PTBatcher(Gui). I did not test the last one yet.

The makefilelib functionality doesn't require any extra configuration.
The "cpfind" functionality has changed compared to it's predecessor "patfree-panomatic". This bundle comes predefined with default settings for cpfind (indoors/architectural, no clouds) and cpfind +celeste (panos with clouds). From the CPDetectors Preferences pane just select the "load defaults". Note: If you also made some exotic changes to other CP detectors than please take a note of these settings prior to loading the defaults (other CPdetectors? who needs other CPdetectors?). You don't need to reinstall the other CPdetectors, just reconfigure. If you just want to add cpfind by hand, than take a quick look at the new wiki page(2), which will expand soon (by you?). Note that you have to add cpfind as executable WITHOUT browsing for it and WITHOUT path reference, just as cpfind.

Tiger users should use the Tiger versions of enblend/enfuse as can be found in the "enblend-enfuse-4.0" folder in the dmg. (Snow)Leopard users can stick to the builtin enblend/enfuse version. These builtin (Snow)Leopard versions are 32/64bit openMP builds. New users or users switching from 2009.2 and below: If you want to use autopano-sift-c and/or panomatic you should download and install the correct versions (see (1)). The bundle comes pre-configured for autopano-sift-c and panomatic but without the actual programs due to patent/license restrictions.

As always: Information and binaries via my website
