Thank you. I tried it on the French translation just contributed. It works.
Why don't you just commit your changes?

My question is: who are you targeting this tool at?

As a developer, I need an indication whether to apply the contributed
translation is a good or a bad thing to do. The tool can't assume that I
understand the translated text, so the whole diff output is not really helpful
to me.

What I would like to know (if possible), is *what* strings have been changed.
The newer strings, or the older strings?
Strings that were previously untranslated, or strings that were previously
translated?
How many in which category?

Currently `msgfmt -c --statistics` is my friend. It tells me how many
messages are translated/fuzzy/untranslated in each individual file, but not
what the overlap is.

Yuv
