In src/hugin_base/vigra_ext/tiffUtils.h OJPEG compression is explicitly set: // set compression unsigned short tiffcomp; if ( comp == "JPEG" ) tiffcomp = COMPRESSION_OJPEG; So I changed the line to ask for tiffcomp = COMPRESSION_JPEG; instead. Gosh, compiling sure takes long... no effect, nona still emits the warining. Looked some more, found in src/foreign/vigra/vigra_impex/tiff.cxx: if ( comp == "NONE" ) tiffcomp = COMPRESSION_NONE; else if ( ( comp == "JPEG" ) && ( quality != -1 ) ) tiffcomp = COMPRESSION_OJPEG; changed that to COMPRESSION_JPEG, now I get this warning instead: JPEGSetupEncode: BitsPerSample 16 not allowed for JPEG. My images are 16bit, but in my p-line it says p f2 w2510 h1255 v360 E0 R0 n"TIFF_m c:LZW r:CROP" So I'm processing TIFF files after all. Very puzzling. On a hunch I changed the p-line to TIFF instead of TIFF_m. Now I get the last warning only once instead of twice (two images in the pto) Kay -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hugin and other free panoramic software" group.
