Hi all,

On the Stitching tab in hugin's preferences under the nona section there's an option to "Create cropped images by default". When this option is selected and you create a new project and save it, hugin writes a .pto with a p line that includes an r:CROP instruction, like so:

  # hugin project file
  #hugin_ptoversion 2
  p f2 w3000 h1500 v360 E0 R0 n"TIFF_m c:LZW r:CROP"
  m g1 i0 f0 m2 p0.00784314

Unsetting the option and then re-saving the project does NOT remove the r:CROP instruction. (Similarly, if you create a new project when "cropped images" is not selected, the p line doesn't include the r:CROP instruction, and subsequently setting the option doesn't make any difference. I'm currently running the 2011.0.0beta2 version of hugin, but I don't think anything has changed recently in this regard.)

Is this the expected behavior? Is there no way to remove the r:CROP instruction short of manually editing the .pto file? I ask because I inadvertently created a new project a few days ago with "cropped images" selected, and ended up getting some rather funky results out of enblend, owing to the fact that I was feeding it images of different sizes. :-)

Cheers,
BBB
