Hi, my target is amd64 and the OS, if you think its good to be more precise, is FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE
I have also just compiled and tested on an i386 (intel 32 bits) with FreeBSD 7.1-RELEASE with -O only, gcc 4.2.1. With -O2 got the segfault. The line: g++ -D__APPLE__ -L/usr/local/lib -I/usr/local/include -msse2 -O multiblend.cpp -ltiff -o multiblend In all cases I had to use -D__APPLE__ or change the #define on the source code, besides adjusting the write.cpp file, which is in some wrong DOS format (I got an error about last line - "no newline at end of file").
