If there is a general opinion that it still requires major changes in 'look and feel' so to speak, there isn't much point in me putting effort into tutorials based on its current state. On the other hand if the consensus is that it is now in a usable and stable state and unlikely to change much, then it is reasonable to revise tutorials around the new gui. My feeling is that it is generally OK, and doesn't really require much more 'tinkering'.
