the same size and aligned, such that corresponding objects in the photos

scenery...) Also, the intermediate files should not be corrected wrt
exposure or colors etc.
You should be able to do this by first ensuring that in your Preferences >
Programs, Nona does NOT have "Create cropped images by default" ticked.
Create your control points and optimise, then in the Stitcher tab set your
Canvas Size and tick only "Remapped images: No exposure correction, low
dynamic range".
If that doesn't solve your problem, let's know with details.
