There is a bug report related to this issue, (
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1829309) in which I have provided a
patch, which works here for me, but for some reason I was unable to push
to the repo. I had hoped another with admin privileges would push it but
that doesn't seem to have happened.
Have a look at that patch, and the source, and see if you think it is an
adequate fix.
