My Hum modes have been
1 - Continuous
2 - Modulated (50% tremolo effect at 1 Hz or so)
3 - Pulsed at a rate of 2 seconds or so, equal duty cycle.
2 and 3 were verified as internal/tinnitus, as they were only audible in ONE
EAR.
Number 2 would cease humming and turn into physical quiver when finger
inserted into ear.
