Geoff..it's obvious you haven't looked ,or don't care to see, -not only what's online but what's overhead. I have seen very unusual trails right overhead for hours- hanging there and slowly drifting. No amount of photos will convince you. Your mind is made up- closed in fact. On the UV issue, I'm aware of the narrow versus broad spectrum case and prefer the former which has seemed to work this year. Even 5% of req'd 'right' light is enough to tip the scales on SAD, it seems For those interested, there is a difference between various light technologies and I can look out the supplier of mine ( a good price for the spec , I thought). At this low power (8W)_ it stays on most of the time as a security light ,anyway!
