Two other snippets that could be good for all of you England: "They" are stopping installing digiital "smart" meters - No reason given. Probably because the darn things don't work like they're supposed to and "they" are losing money on billing as a result. These meters are cheap peices of crap, made in China, and cost $2.50 per. "They" then sell them on to the consumer for 325 quid! (It's in your bill)
2nd snippet: Remember Hiaiti? That place that almost sank after an earthquake. Still has 90% of the rubble sitting where it fell. Hiaiti has bought into BPL - Boy! These salesmen are good. A couple of weeks ago Jamaica bought it too. Now why the Hell would either want power line internet? And where's the $$ coming from? These 2 places are poorer'n poor - All they have are bananas - Growing like Dandelions in April all over. My "Hum" has just started up after an hour's break. Somebody is gonna die for this.
