Imagine my relief upon finding this group - I thought I was going a bit
wibbly in the head.
I haven't found anything about The Hum in danish so far, granted, I haven't
searched hard (yet).
I'm from the western upper part of Zealand (Sjælland) In denmark, close to
a small town called Eskebjerg.

A few months ago I noticed a sound by it's sudden absence, and didn't give
it another though, until it returned.
Sounds like a 20-40ish Hz droning sound, as it's been described by many,
not unlike a truck somewhere, idling.
This is what I thought it was, as there is a large quarry closeby - though
when the sound didn't stop after normal working hours had
ended I began to wonder a bit, and as it didn't seem to go away at all, I
also began to be a bit annoyed - a feeling that's increasing.
I tried to pin-point it without much luck, low frequencies are nearly
impossible to find, it's mostly loudest indoors, with one exception, two
days ago I went for a walk and heard it suddenly very loudly.
I tried to find the origin but it faded and became its low (decibel) hum.

this is all fairly new to me, and I haven't yet explored what kind of
wireless tech is around, or if the electric wires outside my house could be
the cause.
I haven't heard anyone else mention it, but then I haven't really asked
around yet.
I'll start working on a map of where I find the sound to be audible.

Ever so greatful this group exist, thanks, your newest member Nøhr.
