In a act of protest I changed my name at age 26 to Ranjani Kamala Murthy- kamala is my mother and krishnamurthy my father. I never understood why my mother's name was not included. letters while at myrada went from Ranjani Kamala Murthy i left to study aborad at 28 and my passport was on the name of the krishnamurthy. After getting back i have been so sucked into intrenational development that have not had the time to go through the procedure of changing my name legally, passport, pan card, et al.
